OUR MISSION

Be a GEM Foundation believes that all children should have equal opportunity to proper nutrition, basic necessities, and academics.  We provide meals to students and their families during the holiday season, as well as hygienic care packages to teens and young women who are in a state of help. We acknowledge the visions of our young community, and encourage their will to succeed, by providing scholarships to post-secondary students who dedicate their time and knowledge to making our community a better place. We also provide school supplies to students in lower-income communities.

Fundraising Events
Raising funds with the help of our incredible community!​

​It's been six years since we founded Be a GEM Foundation! During this time, we have provided over $47,000 in scholarships to local students, and over $15,000 to breakfast programs, academic programs, and classroom teachers. We've also provided Christmas dinners and meals to over 300 families, over 4000 school supplies to students in lower-income communities, over 1500 hygienic items to the Windsor Youth Centre and Hiatus House, over 300 books to local schools, and thousands of dollars in gift cards, groceries, clothes, and care packages to families in need. This has been an incredible journey and we owe it all to our amazing community that has supported us over the years.
